一个 妓女被人谋杀，抛尸荒野，一名女检尸官锲而不舍追踪凶案真相，揭发出一个惊人的 伦理惨案 ..针对被害妓女，验尸官发现这却是个变性人，经过对和“她”同居的易装人多拉的调查逐渐牵扯出2个嫌疑人：被害人的父亲，一个开尼桑的常客。验尸官推断出凶器是把有损坏的铁锤，在一系列的调查后最终父亲被拘留。因为父亲被多拉认出也是被害人的常客，并且在被杀那天出现在现场；于情于理嫌疑最大。此时一个伦理问题出现了：父亲常常嫖妓不稀奇，稀奇的是嫖到自己“儿子”那里去了，当然那时的儿子已经变成了女儿，以至于父亲没有能认出来，关键是“女儿”也把自己父亲当成客人对待。关于这点看的人毛骨悚然。接着验尸官很负责的在死者嘴里发现了一根毛发，不是人的头发，还没解开的时候，多拉家里死了一个小伙子，之前偷了多拉的钱，死法和妓女一个样，父亲也就被放出来，母亲去接的父亲。多拉同时被怀疑，这个时候验尸官从多拉那里了解到死者母亲其实对自己儿子变性很清楚，却佯装不知；顿时产生怀疑，从母亲那里找到狐狸毛的围巾，检查结果令人吃惊，那就是妓女嘴里的毛发。这个时候，真相也就差不多了，原来母亲深爱父亲，一心想夺回流连于妓女的父亲，同时认为自己儿子也已经死了，变性后的妓女是个怪物，她拿铁锤毫不犹豫的砸死了她也是铲除怪物，那话说的让人汗毛直竖，第二个男人也是母亲杀的，为的是救自己丈夫出来。故事差不多讲完了，当然其中穿插了一些验尸官自己的生活故事，最后团团圆圆。
